Spellcraft circle – Online group 5. September

Shape your reality with words

Every spell you’ve ever found online was written for someone else’s life, someone else’s voice, someone else’s need. You can recite it. You can’t fully connect with it.

Writing your own is different. It’s slower, and it asks more of you. That’s why it works. If you skip the process of writing your own spell, you skip half of the magic. When you write your own spells, you create exactly the energy you need. You give birth to something that holds meaning to you and your subconscious.

And things start moving.

This is a journey to meet your inner power, create your own magical language and align them with your practice. It’s guided by Finnish and Finnic folklore. A journey you walk together with other like-minded, sharing and inspiring each other.

Spellcraft Circle begins on 5th of September. It’s a 5-week online circle for witches who want create spells that deeply resonate.

Build your confidence in the circle of spell chanters

Your magic has your own words. No matter the language, you can build your own word magic and sculpt the energy around you with it.

What you build here isn’t just five weeks of spells. Spellcraft becomes the backbone under your craft: every ritual, every working, every private charm you whisper.

This course will teach you to write and chant spells following spellcraft traditions of the Finnic peoples. The circle us built on my full Spellcraft curriculum, walked through with a small group instead of alone with a screen.

You will learn to create your own spells using structures and ideas that are rooted in ancient rhythms, nature and your own truth. You will draw inspiration from your own surroundings and mix in any tradition or mythology you find close to yourself.

You will receive rich materials to support your work. Videos, audio, prompts and examples that will help in creating your own spell piece by piece. The group will support you in your work and you can ask for support at any time!

In the tradition spells were often sung. You will hear many different melodies that you can use as a helpful tool for writing your spells, or in performing your spells. You don’t need to sing though! There are many ways to chant a spell 🙂

Craft your own spell language

Spells speak in a language of their own. They are more than words. They are filled with symbols, rhythm and intention. Mythical ingredients meeting everyday life and needs.

The words you reach for aren’t neutral. The ones you choose, and the ones you keep choosing, are already shaping how you see what’s in front of you, before any spell is written. Change the words, and you’re not decorating your thinking. You’re rebuilding it. Look at the world through different language and the world doesn’t stay the same.

That’s the actual mechanism behind spellcraft. Not wishing something into being, but choosing, deliberately, the words that will do the shaping anyway, whether you choose them or not.

In this circle, your creative spark will start shining and you will be confident in crafting your own word magic.

Connect with others

Writing a spell is a private act, but naming what needs naming often stirs more than you expect. In Finnish tradition, you can’t banish what you haven’t named, and naming things honestly can be its own kind of release. Some of what surfaces while you write will be unexpected. Some of it will feel like relief.

This circle is built to hold that. You’re not writing alone with a workbook and hoping it lands. Between gatherings, in the Telegram group and in the live sessions, you can share your thoughts, bring your half-finished spell, your stuck line, your uncertainty about whether you’re allowed to write what you’re writing… and you will get the support.

Rise, my luonto, from the void,
Guardian from beneath the ground.
Grow a birch-tree with you,
From the birch, strike a shining spark.

With the spark, paint the sky with stars,
With the stars, expand my light,
From the light, raise bright and clear voice,
From the voice, my own true power.

Rise, my luonto from the quarters
where the spell-singers gather.
Reach the ridges of the skies,
And let the word-magic heal.

As an eclectic witch, I found this course so enriching! I signed up because I was intrigued by the Finnish folklore traditions, but I also found this to engage so much of my own creativity. Ninni presents the structures of different kinds of spells so clearly, and her singing examples are POWERFUL! I’ve had so much fun writing my own spells and will continue to work on more within this Finnish style. I would highly recommend this course for witches and those studying shamanism, as well as for creative writers and students of folklore. Wonderful course!

about

My name is Ninni

I’m a Finnish witch walking my own kind of shamanistic path. I’m a folklore enthusiast, trauma-informed transformation coach and writer. I seek inspiration from nature and folklore, aiming to build a deeper connection with myself, others and the surroundings.

I struggled through overwhelm, anxiety and burnout. And an enormous creative block. I opened a conversation channel with my nervous system, fears, and shadows, and found the energy and courage to follow my own North star, my own path.

For me spellcraft is about taking ownership of our words and power, connecting to something ancient or bigger than myself, processing the inner world, and building momentum and energy for change. Words we say (or sing) matter.

I walk with witches, dreamers and cycle-breakers who are ready to live as their full selves.

My magic blends somatic work, subconscious exploration, energy work, Finnish myth, and creativity.

Q&A

Connection is the practice

In the core of Witches’ North is building connection that holds. To yourself, to others, to the living world, and to something older than all of it. This is where the magic lives.

To self

This is all about self-discovery and compassion. You cannot live fully from a self you don’t know. Your beliefs, your shadows, the patterns that protect you and the ones that limit you. These are not problems to fix, but territory to explore. When you know your own energy, your own voice, your own magic, you stop performing and start living.

To others

We are not meant to carry meaning alone. Shared ritual, shared witness, the moment someone else names what you’ve been carrying in silence. This is a biological and spiritual necessity. The right circle doesn’t drain you. It reminds you who you are and lifts you up.

To nature

Disconnection from the living world is one of the quietest forms of poverty. Finnish tradition knew what modern life forgot: the forest has memory, the water has voice, the land has its own intelligence. When you bring yourself to nature with intention, it meets you. Nurturing this relationship brings both healing and meaning. But more than that: it returns you to a conversation that was never meant to stop.

To something greater

Humans have always needed to make sense of the world. Across centuries and continents, the stories we’ve told are surprisingly similar. You are part of a long continuum of meaning-making. Mythology and science are not opposites. One tells the story of the soul, the other tells something more practical. Both are true. Finnic folklore gives you a specific thread to hold. When you find it, you find that you were never outside the story. You were always in it.
